Exploring Bitcoin and Bhutan
The video explains how money has changed from trading goods like chickens to using coins, paper, cards, and now digital money called Bitcoin. Bitcoin allows people to send and receive money directly online without banks. All transactions are stored in a digital record called the blockchain, which is kept safe by computers solving math puzzles in a process known as mining. Mining uses a lot of electricity, but Bhutan does it using clean hydropower from its rivers, showing how technology and nature can work together to create a new, sustainable way of making money.
